Who are we?

Danske Bank Group, headquartered in Copenhagen, is the largest bank in Denmark and one of the leading financial enterprises in northern Europe. We offer a full range of banking services, with an emphasis on retail banking.

Danske Bank is organised in three business units – Personal Banking, Business Banking and Corporates & Institutions – that span all of the Group’s geographical markets.

Danske Bank Hamburg

​Danske Bank has operations in Germany since 1985. We are situated in Hamburg and our 35 employees service the bank’s clients all over Germany.
 
We serve corporate clients in Germany, offering a broad range of banking products and services that include financing for working capital and investments, risk management, trade finance and cash management.

Our customer groups, broken down by their particular needs for banking services, are:
  • Companies based in the Nordic region with activities in Germany
  • German subsidiaries of Nordic companies 
  • German companies with activities in the Nordic countries 
We are linked to the German clearing system and process all types of domestic and foreign payment transactions. We are a member of the “Association of German Banks” (Bundesverband deutscher Banken).

Den Danske Landmandsbank in 1871.The bank has gone through various changes since then to become todays Danske Bank.
